PLANT-BASED MEAT APPLICATION
In recent years, vegetarianism has been a heated topic for a long time. And with the emergence of artificial meat (also known as plant-based meat), this lifestyle has been more widely acceptable to the public.
The plant-based meat is claimed to be healthier, more environmentally friendly, taste and texture close to “real meat”, and has higher nutritional value than traditional meat. To make it reach more families’ kitchens, people need an opportunity to know this information, reachable products and instructions to cook just like any traditional food material.
Based on my internship experience and my research on plant-based food products, I think it will be very helpful in promoting plant-based diets if a phone application could simply introduce or turn people’s everyday diet into a plant-based one. People can enter their diet structure or they can choose to take a picture and let the AI engine analyze the nutrition make up of their meals. And the AI engine would generate a new diet which will provide the same amount of calories and nutritions with the animal meat replaced with plant-based meats.

It can cooperate with local vendors and these partners will be shown on the map
when the users are looking for the products recommended.
And this app can also sell these products itself and have the goods delivered to its users.
This app can also profit from providing simple graphic cooking instructions,
while more detailed video instructions would require a membership.
